Job Description
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee the establishment of the Project Management Plan and other documents as required.
- Work with other managers project engineers and discipline leads to develop plans for the various deliverables of assigned projects. Ensures that assigned projects meet or exceed goals established in these plans.
- Establish Weekly meetings to review project status and formulate action items for assigned projects.
- Reporting of projects progress status and responds to client issues and expectations.
- Acting as a point of contact with external stakeholders and senior management
- Promote technical excellence on the project through the application of quality assurance processes ensuring quality objectives applied to each project are consistently met
- Work with Project Director Program Manager and Discipline Leads to develop budgets schedules and plans for the various elements of a project.
- Ability to mentor and lead subordinates and young engineers to improve their performance and develop their career.
- Monitor the quality and progress of the disciplines in projects ensuring that production requirements are satisfied.
Key Qualifications :
- A minimum of 10 years of experience working within the industry in related projects.
- Proven track record of experience as a similar PM role
- Preferable five (5) years of management experience in the GCC.
- Superior initiative judgement and ability required to assume the total Leadership of a complete Large-scale program.
- Excellent communication skills with multiple levels of Management and staff
- Team player with the ability to lead and motivate a multinational multi-dimensional organization.
- Ports and maritime experience an advantage
- Experience of commissioning and test plans in an operational environment
- Experienced in the design and management of graduate and trainee programs.
