Position Summary:
This role encompasses both strategic and operational responsibilities leveraging technology to drive business value enhance the guest experience and ensure secure and efficient operations.
Scopes and Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
- Align IT with business goals and ensure that technology initiatives support overall business strategy
- Lead digital transformation and modernization efforts e.g. frictionless and contactless technologies AI for guest personalization business analytics
- Be the innovation champion by exploring and evaluating emerging technologies e.g. AI blockchain smart room technology
IT Governance and Compliance
- Develop and set IT polices data security protocols and SOPs across hotels and corporate office
- Ensure adherence to regulatory compliance e.g. Data Privacy Act PCI DSS
Infrastructure and Systems Oversight
- Oversee the selection deployment maintenance of hotel systems
- Ensure high availability of internal network and internet access
- Cybersecurity oversight
Vendor and Partner Management
- Evaluate and recommend vendors for hardware software and services
- Negotiate and enforce service level agreements with service providers
Financial Planning
- Plan and control the IT budget across the hotels and corporate office
- Implement cost effective technologies
Data and Analytics
- Oversee implementation of analytic platforms for operational KPIs guest behavior and business intelligence
- Enable seamless data flow and integration across systems
Leadership and Team Building
- Build and lead IT teams at corporate and property levels
- Responsible for talent development upskill team on new technologies
