Job Description
General Manager - Luxury Seaside Resort
Location: Sihanoukville
Type: Permanent
Salary: $4000-$5000
Start: Immediate
Our client the owner of a premier luxury resort located on a pristine beach away from the citys bustle is searching for a hands-on General Manager to offer guests an exclusive island-like experience without the need for sea travel.
The General Manager will be responsible for every aspect of the operation will be a passionate host dedicated to ensuring every guest journey is seamless and unforgettable all while driving financial performance and operational excellence for the property.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all day-to-day operations of the resort including Front Office Housekeeping Food & Beverage Maintenance and Guest Services.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve the resorts financial and operational goals.
- Uphold the resorts unique identity leveraging its serene location and secluded beach as key pillars of the guest experience.
- Develop and manage the annual budget forecasts and financial reports on behalf of the ownership.
- Drive revenue growth through effective yield management sales strategies and meticulous cost-control measures.
- Act as the ultimate brand ambassador for the resort personally engaging with guests to ensure the highest level of satisfaction.
- Champion a guest-centric culture among all staff empowering them to resolve issues and create memorable moments.
Qualifications & Experience:
- A minimum of 5-7 years of progressive management experience in the luxury hospitality sector. Experience within a boutique resort environment is highly desirable.
- A track record in a General Manager or Food and Beverage Management role.
- Previous experience working in a remote or secluded location is highly advantageous.
- Exceptional leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
