This position functions as the Associate SDOH Policy Director within the Policy and Planning Bureau. The State Division Administrator functions as a division administrator serving as the associate director of the division. This position oversees the development implementation and coordination of crosscutting and innovative policies and programs that further the Departments mission specifically related to addressing social drivers of health. The Associate SDOH Policy Director develops and implements new approaches to develop sustainable solutions that address upstream and midstream social factors that influence health outcomes through multisector partnerships.

Education
Possession of a bachelors degree in any major.
Experience
Two years of experience as a professional manager or program/staff specialist or equivalent experience.
Alternative Education and Experience
Education level typically acquired through completion of high school and three years of safety and regulatory or law enforcement experience at the 14 level; or two years of safety and regulatory or law enforcement experience at the 15 level may be substituted for the education and experience requirements.

The physical location of this position is 333 South Blvd Lansing MI 48933. Based on operational needs and within established limits remote work and alternate or hybrid work schedule requests for this position may be considered.
This position is being filled as a limited term assignment with the potential to become permanent but its never guaranteed.
Selected candidates who have been approved to work remotely or a hybrid schedule must complete that work within Michigan. Candidates should confirm work location and schedule at the time of interview.
