Job Description

Class A City Truck Driver - Decatur IL.
$2500.00 Sign On Bonus
$1000.00 Referral Bonus

This is a full-time hourly position.

ADM Trucking is a food grade transportation company.

Job Summary The Class A City Driver will be available to work on a2nd or 3rdshift using slip seat tractor availability. Work may be scheduled on weekends and driver must be able move product in a safe and efficient manner in the city operations. The driver must plan for breaks moving trailers weather traffic & construction city and rural driving conditions and manage unforeseen circumstances. The driver will enter and exit a tractor multiple times during a shift. Equipment can include but is not limited to tank trailers dry vanpneumatic intermodal flat beds pumps facility equipment hoses and valves. Driver will be responsible for safely and efficiently loading and unloading product according to company and facility instructions. Weekly hours can and do fluctuate. Overtime may be necessary to meet activity levels.

Essential Job Functions The individual is required to follow all government company & customer policies and regulations. This includes but isnot limited to FMCSA OSHA EPA DOL & Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Preferred CandidateRequirements
  • 24 years of age
  • 12months of verifiable tractor-trailerexperience within the previous7 years
  • Graduated from a Certified Class A CDL Program
  • Class A CDL with Tank endorsement
  • Must be able to obtain hazardous materials endorsement
  • Must be able to Pass a Lift Test of 75lbs

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including market location job-related knowledge skills and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.

If hired employees will be in an at-will position and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time including for reasons related to individual performance Company or individual department/team performance and market factors.
