Leads manufacturing engineering efforts to improve quality and functionality of GE HealthCare FASTlab cassette products
Oversees the production processes ensuring high-quality standards and regulatory compliance
Develops and implements manufacturing strategies to optimize production efficiency and reduce costs
Collaborates with cross-functional teams including R&D QA and supply chain to ensure seamless production operations
Evaluates generates and translates ideas into achievable projects leading to productivity and simplification gains
Leads troubleshooting and problem-solving activities to resolve manufacturing issues implementing corrective actions as needed
Drives continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and manufacturing processes
Minimum Bachelors degree in Manufacturing Engineering Mechanical Engineering or a related field
Strong experience in manufacturing engineering with a focus on plastics and injection moulding within a medical device or pharmaceutical company
Strong problem-solving skills and experience in product optimization
Driver is proactive makes things happen and can ensure that supporting documentation is in place to support justifications
Recognized as a problem solver and a source of practical and theoretical knowledge
Project and process engineering experties
Proven track record of leading manufacturing projects and teams
Excellent knowledge of manufacturing processes quality control and regulatory standards
A high degree of autonomy is necessary as the role might be geographically separated from the hiring manager and other team members
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience in working in 3D CAD environment
Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment
Business travel to manufacturing sites to support production and support manufacturing is an essential element of this role. Whilst requirement to travel can vary the travel would not be expected to exceed 30% overall.
Experience working with chemistry processes
Experience working within molecular imaging or nuclear medicine fields
Experience with GE HealthCare FASTlab or similar cassette-based production systems is a plus
Experience with CREO CAD
