About you
- An ability to provide exceptional person centre and evidence- based care
- Strong ability to work autonomously and deliver the desired outcomes.
- High level interpersonal skills in communication and relationship building with all key stakeholders
Qualifications
- Current registration with AHPRA as a registered nurse with no restrictions
- Minimum 5 years experience working as a Registered Nurse
- Post graduate qualification in Education (desirable)
- Understanding of the role of education in the preparation of staff to ensure that an appropriately skilled workforce is available for the provision of care and service
- Demonstrated experience with undergraduate nursing and/or health professional students and understanding of the needs of students on clinical placement
- Demonstrated experience with new staff members including preceptorship of graduate nurses
- Understanding the professional development needs of staff and how this links to retention and a sustainable workforce
- Experience working with learners using adult education principles
- High level of computer literacy
- Excellent communication skills (verbal & non-verbal) including the ability to liaise at all levels within the organisation and work as part of a team
- Excellent organisation prioritisation and time management skills
- High quality customer service skills
- High degree of integrity and professionalism

If you are successful you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant nursing experience against the current nursing Enterprise Agreement the Healthscope - NSWNMA / AMNF - Nurses and Midwives Agreement NUM classification starting from $66.50 to $69.66 per hour.

Applicants will be required to provide a current National Police check WWCC (where applicable) and Evidence of right to work in Australia prior to appointment. Staff in patient contact roles will be required to provide proof of immunity to specified infectious diseases as a Category A Healthcare worker.
