We encourage applications from women people of color people with disabilities veterans and other candidates from underrepresented backgrounds and with diverse experiences interested in this opportunity.About the PositionThis position provides centralized fiscal administrative support related to travel coordination and hiring processes for the academic departments in the College of Science and Engineering. Under the general direction of the College Operations Manager (OM) you will work with department administrative staff to manage faculty travel authorizations and reimbursements and process student and faculty hiring paperwork. Additionally working with the director of the CSE Instrument Center you will maintain fiscal reporting systems to address specific unit needs. You will also assist in the maintenance of College fiscal recordkeeping systems and provide back-up for the Operations Manager and Administrative Assistant as needed.Required Qualifications
  • A Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Two years of related professional experience.
  • Outstanding ability to establish and maintain a collegial cooperative and collaborative work environment in a high pressure and confidential setting and with a wide variety of staff faculty and students
  • Demonstrated expertise with Microsoft Office 365 including Excel SharePoint and Outlook
  • Demonstrated experience with fiscal or budgeting processes in a business/office setting
  • Demonstrated competency in organization of data work tasks and priorities.
  • Ability to complete administrative tasks with attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Commitment and proven ability to practice and maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Banner and Millennium FAST
  • Experience with SAP Concur or other Travel and Expense Management Software
  • Advanced spreadsheet and database skills
  • Professional experience in supporting university faculty and higher education administration
