Job Description

Litigation Calendar & Docket SpecialistCleveland OH Full-Time On-Site Legal Services

A top law firm in downtown Cleveland is hiring a Litigation Calendar & Docket Specialist to support its litigation team. If you have a strong attention to detail and experience with docketing systems this is a key opportunity to contribute to the success of high-profile cases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage deadlines and litigation calendars using CompuLaw or similar software

  • Review legal documents to identify court dates filing deadlines and obligations

  • Maintain accurate docket entries across multiple jurisdictions

  • Coordinate with attorneys staff and court clerks to verify timelines and rules

  • Generate reports to support case tracking and compliance

  • Monitor changes in court procedures and update systems accordingly

What Were Looking For:

  • Prior experience using CompuLaw CourtAlert or eDockets

  • Knowledge of court rules and legal procedures at the state and federal level

  • Ability to interpret complex pleadings and apply deadline calculations

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • Experience working in a legal docketing role for at least five years
