60%- Textile Archive Support- Collaborate with faculty and staff to document catalog and properly store objects from the textile archive.
- Prepare textiles using appropriate archival materials and preservation methods.
- Enter detailed data and metadata into the collection database.
- Photograph objects for documentation and reference purposes.
30%- Book Cataloging and Organization- Catalog and input book titles using the Librarika application including barcode scanning.
- Organize and maintain shelving of book titles to ensure easy access and accurate storage.
10%- General Maintenance and Support- Perform light housekeeping duties such as vacuuming dusting and basic upkeep of the work area.
- Assist with general organization and inventory of supplies.
- Perform tasks that may involve bending lifting or moving materials as needed.

For summer periods the student hourly must: (1) have been enrolled in no less than 6 hours in the past spring semester or (2) be pre-enrolled in the upcoming fall semester in no less than 6 hours or (3) be enrolled in summer session or (4) be admitted to study in the upcoming fall semester. Student Hourlies may be undergraduate or graduate students. (Exceptions granted for GRA/GTA/GA appointments DO NOT apply to Student Hourly appointments).
