We are looking for a highly motivated detail-oriented person to join our team as a Crime Victim Compensation Specialist. Your work in this role will help us continue to facilitate the delivery of services to victims of crime and increase the safety of our communities. Under the direction of the Claims Processing Supervisor you will be responsible for providing financial reimbursement guidance and other related services to victims of crime their families significant others and other claimants. In this position you will be responsible for investigations of claims determinations dispositions and reimbursement preparations for claimants. In conjunction with other services you can expect to interact with victims and assist them to ensure their rights and services provided are consistent with victim services laws standards and procedures. Additionally you will develop and provide on-site technical assistance to victim service programs throughout the Commonwealth related to the victims compensation services provided by those programs. Assistance will include providing information on implementing or improving direct compensation services to victims and claimants.
