ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring timely collections managing client accounts and supporting the month-end close process. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working collaboratively to improve financial processes.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Monitor customer accounts and ensure timely collection of outstanding invoices
  • Issue and process sales invoices accurately and in a timely manner
  • Communicate with clients regarding overdue payments and resolve billing issues
  • Reconcile AR accounts and investigate discrepancies
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Sales Legal Project Management) to resolve disputes
  • Prepare AR-related reports and assist in month-end and year-end close activities
  • Support audit requirements and provide necessary documentation when needed
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives in AR workflows

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

This also means that you are effective at managing multiple tasks of varying complexities work well under pressure and are driven by continuous learning and growth. Specifically we are looking for someone with the following toolbox:

  • Bachelors degree in accounting or finance.
  • At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in Accounts Receivable or similar finance role
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles including revenue recognition and AR processes
  • Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent communication skills in English both written and verbal
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a multicultural and international business environment
