The Sr. Director of Victim Services will oversee the following responsibilities:
- Supervise the Director of Shelter Operations and the Director of Case Management
- Leading the Victim Services Division including Lifeline programs Hotline operations and Emergency Services ensuring all services follow trauma-informed strengths-based and harm reduction principles.
- Developing annual goals and objectives for each program evaluating success and identifying enhancements to improve services.
- Overseeing the recruitment training and supervision of staff interns and volunteers within the division.
- Ensuring that all client data is accurately documented program goals are met and reporting requirements are fulfilled.
- Managing outreach initiatives to underserved and marginalized communities building relationships with community partners to increase access to resources for survivors.
- Administering program policies and ensuring compliance with funders guidelines reporting on program outcomes and ensuring timely audits.
- Collaborating with internal teams to coordinate program delivery and provide leadership on high-level crisis intervention management when needed.
- Providing rotating on-call coverage for Victim Services and shift coverage as needed.
- Ensuring programs adhere to funding and DHS service guidelines and managing the Emergency Assistance fund spending for the department.
- Acting as a resource for program staff ensuring their professional development and skill enhancement through ongoing training.

The Crisis Center for South Suburbia has been providing hope and services to victims of domestic violence for over 40 years through housing counseling advocacy outreach and prevention programs. We are a non-profit community organization that provides emergency shelter and other essential services for individuals and families victimized by domestic violence and addresses the societal issues that contribute to domestic violence. With a staff of more than 50 employees and a budget of over four million dollars the Crisis Center continues to grow while offering free services to Chicagos south suburban communities.
