Monte Christo Communities is growing and we need a talented Senior Financial Analyst to join our team!

What you will do:
- Determine cost of operations by establishing standard costs and collecting operational data.
- Analyze financial performance by comparing actual results to budget and forecast.
- Provide detailed variance analysis and explanations to leadership.
- Partner with other business units to support Budget preparation and financial planning.
- Guide cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures.
- Identify process improvement opportunities in financial reporting and analysis
- Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data.
- Maintain databases by entering verifying and backing up data.
- Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses.
- Increase productivity by developing automated accounting applications and coordinating information requirements.
- Protect operations by keeping financial information confidential.
- Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing publications.
- Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing results as needed.

- The ability to re-evaluate priorities daily and meet deadlines
- A high degree of technical understanding of accounting software (experience with QuickBooks and Yardi preferred)
- A solid understanding of accounting principles financial statements and tax returns
- Bachelors degree in finance accounting business analytics or related business field is required
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar position
- Strong understanding of business finance and analytics
- Great interpersonal and communication skills both oral and written
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Expert in using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
Pay & Benefits:
- $100-110k salary depending on education and experience
