Our Information Technology (IT) team leads all aspects of IT systems and processes across the enterprise including data services security compliance applications automation and end-user services. Description

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Network Engineer to join our IT Infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing implementing and supporting the enterprise network infrastructure with a focus on high availability performance and security. This role will work across campus and remote sites and play a key role in supporting business-critical systems and services.

Your day-to-day job will consist of:

• • Design configure and manage enterprise network infrastructure including Cisco Nexus and Catalyst switches across core distribution and access layers as well as Meraki switching and wireless platforms.

  • Manage FortiGate firewalls including policies NAT VPN configurations and advanced security features.
  • Configure maintain and troubleshoot IPSec tunnels and remote user VPN solutions.
  • Support internal and external DNS and DHCP infrastructure to ensure name resolution and IP management across the enterprise.
  • Monitor network performance and availability using tools such as LogicMonitor SolarWinds or equivalent.
  • Provide Tier 2/3 support for network-related incidents and service requests.
  • Collaborate with security teams to ensure network security standards are met.
  • Document network designs configurations and operational procedures.
  • Respond to critical incidents after hours as needed.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of network upgrades expansions and site deployments (e.g. new office builds).

Minimum Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in network engineering or related roles.
• Strong expertise in Cisco networking including Nexus and Catalyst platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki switches and wireless systems.
• Proficient in managing Fortinet FortiGate firewalls.
• Solid experience with IPSec VPN tunnels user VPN access and remote connectivity.
• In-depth knowledge of DNS/DHCP protocols and server configuration (preferably Microsoft).
• Understanding of routing protocols (OSPF BGP) Layer 2/3 technologies and network segmentation.
• Familiarity with security best practices and network hardening techniques.
• Strong analytical documentation and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Cisco certifications (CCNA CCNP or higher).
• Fortinet NSE certifications (NSE4 or above).
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale infrastructure across multiple sites.
• Familiarity with cloud networking in AWS or Azure is a plus.
