Job Description
Vall dHebron Research Institute (VHIR) is a public sector institution located in Barcelona (Spain) that promotes and develops innovative biomedical research at the University Hospital Vall dHebron. VHIR is oriented towards finding solutions to the health problems of the citizens and has the will to contribute to the scientific educational social and economic development within its area of competence around the world.
VHIR offers a vacant position of clinical researcher within the Stroke Research Group.
Education and qualifications:
Required:
- PhD
- Degree in Medicine.
- Specialization in Neurology.
- Oral and written fluency in English and Spanish.
- Good communication skills able to work in a team and independently.
Desired:
- Fluency in Catalan.
- Other languages to be valued.
Experience and knowledge:
Required:
- At least 2 years of clinical experience in a Stroke Unit.
Desired:
- Atherothrombotic stroke formation.
- Previous participation in clinical research activity.
- Certification in Good Clinical Practice.
Main responsibilities and duties:
- Organization and management of patients included in clinical trials/research studies.
- Give support to follow-up visits of patients.
- Clinical research on Stroke.
- Involvement in European-funded projects based on stroke research and Artificial Intelligence.
Labour conditions:
- Part-time position: 16h/week.
- Starting date: immediate.
- Gross annual salary: Remuneration will depend on experience and skills. (Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale)
- Contract: Permanent linked to Project:POC4TRIAGE HORIZON-HLTH-2023-TOOL-05.
