Tasks
- Transcribe audio recordings from healthcare providers into written reports
- Ensure completeness accuracy and clarity of all transcribed documents
- Edit and review reports for grammar medical terminology and consistency
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and internal confidentiality policies
- Collaborate with medical professionals to clarify content when needed
- Upload finalized transcriptions to electronic health record systems
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Transcriptionist or completion of a transcription training program
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and healthcare documentation
- Excellent English grammar spelling and punctuation
- High typing speed (minimum 60 WPM) with accuracy
- Reliable internet connection and ability to work independently from home
- Commitment to meeting deadlines and maintaining patient confidentiality
