Tasks
Planning & Strategy
- Facilitate strategic planning sessions with cross-functional teams using delivery metrics to guide decisions.
- Create and maintain delivery roadmaps that align with business objectives and tech strategy.
- Define project scope success metrics KPIs and delivery plans that support long-term growth.
Project Management & Delivery
- Oversee technology projects from initiation to delivery - ensuring timelines goals and business value stay on track.
- Implement and improve project management frameworks that drive efficiency and visibility.
- Monitor delivery performance proactively mitigate risks and ensure execution meets expectations.
Stakeholder Management
- Communicate project status risks and outcomes clearly and regularly to all stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with clients internal teams and third parties to deliver outstanding project outcomes.
- Generate reporting and insights for senior leadership on progress blockers and delivery impact.
Process Improvement
- Champion continuous improvement across delivery processes tools and methodologies.
- Identify bottlenecks and opportunities to streamline operations enhancing team effectiveness.
- Help teams evolve by integrating best practices feedback loops and post-project learnings.
Requirements
What it takes to succeed:
- Strong command of project management tools and methodologies (Agile Scrum Kanban Waterfall).
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and IT architecture.
- Excellent stakeholder and client relationship management skills.
- Confident working with cross-functional and fully remote teams.
- Strategic thinker with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for continuous improvement.
- Fluent in English with strong communication and presentation skills.
- Comfortable using Atlassian Suite (Jira Confluence) Microsoft Office tools and Team Health frameworks.
- Experience in the payments or fintech space is a strong advantage.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in a related field preferred (e.g. Computer Science IT Engineering Business).
- Alternatively significant verifiable experience in a similar role will also be considered.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in project delivery program management or technology leadership.
- Hands-on experience with software delivery and client-facing project leadership.
