Pre-Sales Engineer

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and dynamicPresales Engineer to support oursalesteam by designing proposing and demonstrating solutions that meet customer needs. Reporting directly to the Group Technology Manager this role will focus on understanding client requirements developing technical proposals and showcasing our network and systems solutions. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in network and systems engineering a strong customer-focused approach and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
Work closely with thesalesteam to understand customer requirements and develop tailored network and systems solutions that align with business needs.
Design and document technical architectures solutions and proposals for network server storage and security systems.
Prepare and deliver technicalpresentations and product demonstrations for customers highlighting key benefits and features.
Serve as a subject matter expert providing detailed knowledge on network and systems products solutions and industry best practices.
Assist in thepreparation of RFP/RFI responses by providing technical specifications solution details and cost estimates.
Conduct technical assessments and site surveys to better understand the client’s existing infrastructure and recommend appropriate solutions.
Collaborate with the Group Technology Manager and other departments to ensure proposed solutions align with our technology strategy.
Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends products and competitors to maintain a competitive edge.
Participate in post-salesactivities including solution handovers to implementation teams and addressing technical inquiries from clients.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology Computer Science Network Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in apresales or similar technical consulting role within the network and systems domain.
Strong understanding of network design principles server and storage architectures virtualization and cloud services.
Hands-on experience with major vendors such as Cisco Huawei VMware Microsoft and cloud providers ( GCP).

Preferred Certifications
Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNA) or higher.
Huawei Certified Network Professional (HCNP) or higher
Additional certifications in virtualization (e.g. VMware VCP) or cybersecurity (e.g. CompTIA Security) are a plus.
Key Skills
Excellentpresentation and communication skills with the ability to explain technical solutions to non-technical audiences.
Proficiency in designing network architectures including LAN WAN SD-WAN and network security.
Familiarity with server virtualization storage solutions and cloud architectures (hybrid and multi-cloud).
Experience with creating technical documentation including proposals architectural diagrams and solution descriptions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
