Job Description
- Customizing instructional approaches and classroom resources to support a variety of learning profiles.
- Tracking student performance evaluating progress and refining teaching techniques to drive success.
- Building strong partnerships with families and school teams to ensure consistent communication and goal alignment.
- Participating in ongoing professional development to stay current with innovative practices in special education.
- Collaborating with educators support staff and administrators to create a unified support network.
- Delivering targeted individualized instruction based on IEP goals that reflect each student s unique abilities and challenges.
Requirements
- Prior experience working with diverse learners and developing IEPs.
- Demonstrated experience in an academic setting preferably in special education.
- Bachelor s degree (Master s degree preferred) from an accredited college or university.
- Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with an LBS1 endorsement (required; no alternative certifications accepted).
