Job Overview:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Java Developer with a strong background in cloud-native development particularly on GCP. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Java Spring Boot and hands-on experience working with a broad range of GCP services DevOps tools and security-focused development practices.
Requirements
- Design develop and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Develop and deploy microservices in cloud environments especially GCP ECS for Kubernetes.
- Ensure application security using tools like Snyk SonarQube GCP Security Hub and GuardDuty.
- Implement observability and alerting using Grafana CloudWatch and CloudTrail.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies code reviews and ensure high-quality software delivery.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5 10 years of professional experience in backend development using Java and Spring Boot
- Strong hands-on experience with GCP services including:
- Proficient with Terraform for infrastructure as code
- Working knowledge of security and code quality tools: Snyk SonarQube GCP GuardDuty Security Hub
- Experience with Kafka for event-driven architectures
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
Nice to Have:
- Experience in containerization with Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with GCP cost optimization and well-architected framework
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum practices and tools
