Our Information Technology (IT) team leads all aspects of IT systems and processes across the enterprise including data services security compliance applications automation and end-user services. Through innovative and streamlined technology solutions this dynamic team enables company growth protects data and serves as a critical partner to all departments of PowerSchool.
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level IT Technician to join our IT team. In this role you will support day-to-day IT operations provide end-user support manage IT assets and maintain conference room equipment. This position is ideal for someone starting their IT career who enjoys problem-solving learning new technologies and working in a collaborative environment.
End-User Support:
Respond to help desk tickets and provide timely technical support for hardware software and networking issues.
Assist users with setup troubleshooting and maintenance of desktops laptops mobile devices and peripherals.
Asset Management:
Maintain an accurate inventory of all IT hardware and software assets.
Tag track and audit IT equipment throughout its lifecycle (procurement to decommissioning).
Assist with hardware deployment and recycling processes.
Conference Room Technology:
Support and maintain AV and conferencing systems (e.g. Zoom Rooms Microsoft Teams Rooms).
Set up and test equipment for meetings and ensure smooth operation.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
General IT Tasks:
Assist with network and infrastructure support tasks under the direction of senior IT staff.
Install and configure hardware and software as needed.
Document support processes solutions and procedures.
Associates degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Basic understanding of Windows and macOS operating systems.
Familiarity with common IT hardware (laptops printers monitors networking gear).
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

A reasonable estimate of the base compensation range for this position is $48300 - $64900 USD. This compensation range is specific to the United States and it incorporates many factors including but not limited to an applicants skills and prior relevant experience and training; licensures degrees and certifications; specific geographic location; internal equity; internal pay ranges; and market data/range parameters.
