Job Description

Stuttgart Junior High School is seeking a dynamic and dedicated educator to teach Keycode and Career Development to 7th and 8th-grade students. The ideal candidate will be passionate about preparing students for success in technology and career readiness incorporating hands-on learning and real-world applications. This position is an exciting opportunity to inspire students through coding fundamentals digital literacy and exploration of future career pathways.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Arkansas teaching license (or ability to obtain) in Business Technology or related field

  • Strong knowledge of computer applications keyboarding basic coding and career development curriculum

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging instruction in Keycode and Career Development aligned with Arkansas state standards

  • Incorporate project-based learning and career exploration activities

  • Integrate technology and real-world skills into daily lessons

  • Maintain accurate records assessments and communication with parents and staff

  • Collaborate with colleagues to support student growth and achievement
