Road Supervisor - Port Kembla NSW
Job Description / The Role
Toll Group are looking for a proactive and experiencedRoad Supervisorto lead our local cartage operations in Port Kembla. This is your opportunity to play a key role in ensuring the safe efficient and customer-focused delivery of transport services whilst supervising drivers managing fleet allocations and fleet utilisation.
Duties and Responsibilities / a day in the life of a Road Supervisor
Coordinate and supervise drivers and vehicle allocations to meet customer load requirements.
Ensure compliance with Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and WHS legislation.
Liaise with customers internal teams and drivers to ensure service excellence.
Monitor and maintain equipment condition and vehicle maintenance.
Lead safety initiatives toolbox meetings and continuous improvement programs.
Manage driver training performance conduct safety audits and compliance.
Participate in weekly and monthly planning reporting and review activities.
To be successful in this role you will need:
Previous experience within a similar role within Transport/Logistics industry.
A positive attitude and appetite to learn.
Demonstrated experience with Operations CoR Fatigue Management desirable but not essential.
An analytical mind-set strong ability to problem solve.
Exceptional communication skills written and verbal.
Computer literacy skills MS Office Suite: Word Excel and Outlook.
High attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines within a time-pressured environment.
