The High School Vocational Machining Teacher will provide students with the knowledge skills and practical experience required for careers in automated manufacturing. The teacher will develop and deliver curriculum that aligns with Massachusetts state standards for vocational education focusing on automation robotics CNC machining and manufacturing teacher will also ensure students gain hands-on experience through the use of industry-standard equipment and provide guidance on safety practices troubleshooting programming and operations of automated Responsibilities:Curriculum Development:* Develop and update lesson plans and instructional materials for automated manufacturing programs.* Align curriculum with state standards and industry certifications incorporating cutting-edge technology and trends in automated :* Teach courses in automated manufacturing including robotics CNC machinery industrial automation and basic engineering principles.* Provide students with both theoretical and hands-on training ensuring they gain proficiency in programming operating and maintaining automated manufacturing Assessment:* Evaluate student performance through assignments quizzes hands-on projects and tests.* Provide feedback on student progress offer additional support as necessary and monitor individual and Equipment Management:* Enforce strict safety protocols in the classroom and lab settings to ensure a safe learning environment.* Oversee the maintenance and calibration of automated machinery and Readiness and Career Preparation:* Provide guidance on career pathways in the manufacturing sector including apprenticeships internships and certifications.* Assist students with job placement and offer career counseling regarding opportunities in automation and Development:* Stay current with industry trends technology and educational practices.* Attend workshops seminars and conferences related to automated manufacturing and vocational :* Work closely with other vocational instructors school administrators and local businesses to ensure the programs relevance to workforce demands.* Participate in school and district meetings contributing to curriculum review and Engagement:oFoster a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages student involvement and student participation in competitions conferences and external events related to automated manufacturing.
