Main Purpose of Job
The purpose of this position is to provide administrative oversight and continued programdevelopment through knowledge of specific policies procedures compliance andfunding etc. to support the mission goals and objectives of the Department and theDepartment of Human Services. This position is responsible for managing all resourcesincluding the hiring of staff to move the mission of the program forward and create highlevel service for families adults and children in the local community. The program areasfor which this position provides oversight and program development are In-Home FamilyServices and clinical supports.
POSITION DUTIES
- Provide leadership and administration oversight for the In-Home Family Services and Clinical support ensuring monthly staff supervision and adherence to clinical family support standards.
- Review records and data collection monthly to evaluate the trends making programmatic and staffing adjustments to meet the programmatic expectations.
- Identify and develop procedures that emphasis collaborative practices under the administrators preview. This includes monitoring and informing budgetary processes related for the PSSF Fatherhood program and intensive Preservations initiatives.
- Oversight and monitoring and enhancing the clinical processes including the incorporation of training for units on staffing and family presentations.
- Work to establish the restoration of internships group supervision and peer consultations for clinical support.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education:A Masters degree in social work from an accredited collegeor university approved by the Council on Social WorkEducation.
Experience:Seven years of professional experience in a social work capacity in a public or private agency or institution five years must have been in an administrative supervisory or consultative capacity.

may substitute U.S. Armed Forces militaryservice experience at a rank of Corporal/Petty Officer or higher as a commissioned officer in Social Workclassifications or Social Work specialty codes in the SocialScience Psychology and Welfare field of work on a year-for-year basis for the required experience and education.
DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will possess the following:One year of experience in senior leadership programs overseeing programs and managing staff.
One year of experience familiarity with private federal state and local regulations governing child welfare practices and programs.
One year of experience in budget management and program development.
LICENSES REGISTRATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS
1. Candidates forpositions in this classification must be licensed by the Maryland Board of Social Work Examiners.
2. Employees in this classification may be assigned duties which require the operation of a motor vehicle. Employees assigned such duties are required to possess a motor vehicle operators license valid in the State of Maryland.
