Job Summary
The Corporate Controls Engineer will develop maintain and improve automation control systems integral to the production process of the assembly of automotive seating and overhead systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Education and/or Experience
Language Skills
Ability to read and write and understand verbal direction provided in the English language.
Technical Skills
PLC code development and debug experience.
Hardware knowledge in PLCs PCs HMIs (i.e. Panel View RS View) controls devices (i.e. sensors actuators motion control equipment) and Robotics.
Experience with Automation Network Interfaces for data and control (Ethernet DeviceNet ControlNet ProFiBus etc.)
Mathematical Skills
Functional knowledge of intermediate and advanced math functions including trigonometry and algebra. Ability to convert between metric and English units of measure. Ability to create and interpret graphs and relationships between inputs and outputs.
Computer Skills
Intermediate or advanced knowledge of the following applications: MS Word Excel Power Point Auto Cad LT 2020 or higher. General knowledge of plant automation network applications.
Working Conditions and Physical Environment
The typical work area is indoors controlled. There will be frequent periods of time spent walking standing throughout a corporate environment and local plant production area(s).
