The Worldwide Lead of Global Services Security GTM & Business Development will lead a team that drives revenue growth customer acquisition and partner enablement for the Global Services Security (GSS) business. They will partner across AWS to position security as a strategic differentiator and accelerator for customer cloud adoption. The buck stops with this role in ensuring that GS Security meets its top-line financial plans through the development of world-class GTM BD specialist sales and partner channel capabilities for their business.
The leader requires security domain depth to earn trust with the security risk compliance and more broadly with the technology and business leaders in our customer and partner organizations including both at the C-Suite level and the operating role(s) level. They must position GS Security services/offerings other security related offerings within the Global Services BUs and the wider portfolio of AWS Security services as an accelerant to customer adoption of AWS and as a differentiator compared to the alternative cloud services providers.
The right candidate will have demonstrated experience leading go-to-market business development specialist sales and partner channel development preferably in multiple security sub domains and across the product life-cycle. They will need a strong analytical acumen synthesis structuring and problem-solving skills to translate ambiguous and incomplete information into actionable plans mechanisms and deliver results.
Key job responsibilities
- Build and lead a high-performing team responsible for security-focused sales business development and partner channel management
- Consistently achieve ambitious revenue bookings pipeline and customer acquisition goals through data-driven planning and execution
- Develop GTM strategies and plans for the Global Services Security portfolio collaborating cross-functionally to integrate with broader AWS and partner motions
- Incubate new security offerings identifying target customers securing references and establishing repeatable sales models
- Leverage specialist security expertise to support AWS account teams and partners making strategic deployment decisions
- Create enablement content sales plays and thought leadership to fuel customer acquisition and growth

- 15 years experience in sales or business development at a technology company
- 10 years experience leading teams in a leader of leaders capacity
- 7 years experience in enterprise security solutions including cloud security services and solutions
- Proven track record driving revenue growth customer acquisition and partner enablement in complex enterprise environments
- Experience effectively leading technical and non-technical stakeholders across multiple teams management levels cultures and personalities
- Deep understanding of the AWS platform and how to position security as a strategic differentiator
- Knowledge of AWS security services Global Services Security services/offerings and other security offerings within the Global Services portfolio.
- Strong background in building partner ecosystems

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $232400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $345800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
