Responsibilities

We seek a highly motivated Structural Engineering Intern to join our team. As a Structural Engineering Intern you will assist in performing engineering assignments related to structural analysis and design working under the supervision of experienced engineers. Responsibilities include compiling data conducting design computations and preparing engineering plans for various civil infrastructure projects. The intern will receive specific instructions and guidance on required tasks and expected results to support their professional development in structural engineering.

  • Assist in performing structural analysis and design tasks under the guidance of senior engineers.
  • Compile data and conduct necessary computations to support engineering plans and project requirements.
  • Prepare engineering plans drawings and documentation in accordance with project specifications and standards.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure alignment of structural designs with project objectives.
  • Participate in site visits inspections and evaluations to support project planning and execution.
  • Receive specific instruction and guidance from supervisors to complete assigned tasks effectively.

Qualifications

  • Currently working toward a Bachelor or Master of Science in a Structural Engineering related curriculum in an ABET accredited university.
  • High school diploma.
  • Previous internship experience preferred.
  • Basic understanding of structural analysis design principles and engineering software tools such as AutoCAD RISA/RAM Structural System/STAAD-Pro/SAP 2000/ETABS Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
  • Eagerness to learn and develop technical skills in structural engineering.
