Are you passionate about inventory management and process improvement Join our Materials Operations team as a Senior Materials Representative Cycle Counting and play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy efficiency and reliability of our inventory processes.Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Inventory Management
Prepare and organize areas for cycle counts ensuring part consolidation FIFO inventory rotation and accurate tracking of receipts and scrap.
Perform cycle counts across on-site and off-site locations including yard inventory.
Investigate and reconcile inventory variances applying critical problem-solving skills.
Conduct yard checks and ensure trailer records align with Trackx system data.
Develop audit and manage SOPs for inventory transactions to drive accuracy and efficiency.
Lead and contribute to the success of our annual physical inventory process.
Embrace lean manufacturing principles to continuously improve materials workflows.
Coordinate shipments to maintain accuracy and validate incoming shipments for compliance.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Partner with materials teams to enhance the cycle count program.
Maintain precise records and report inventory counts.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders about inventory challenges to prevent disruptions.
Support ongoing cycle counting initiatives and adapt to business needs.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate degree or active pursuit of a degree in business or a related field; OR 2 years of relevant experience may substitute for formal education
Strong organizational communication and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Oracle Trackx and Microsoft Office tools (Excel Outlook Word).
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in business or a related field.
Experience in inventory control or similar functions.
Familiarity with parts identification processes and procedures.
ERP Superuser capabilities.
Meticulous attention to detail paired with analytical expertise.
