Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED and two years of customer service administrative or office experience; or a combination of education and related experience.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Previous customer service experience.
  • Previous cash handling experience.
  • Physical Requirements: Extended standing walking ability to bend stoop reach and climb ladders.
  • Able to lift 35 pounds.
  • Able to work in all temperature conditions.
  • Flexible schedule to include nights and weekends.

ThePantherDining Hallis seeking to hire an experiencedCustomer Service Specialist II. This position will provide support to the dining halls at Georgia State University. The Customer Services Specialist II provides excellent customer service maintains outstanding solid product knowledge and all other aspects of customer service standards.

WHAT WILL YOU DO:

The Customer Services Specialist II will maintain outstanding solid product knowledge and all other aspects of customer service standards. This position may require you to be cross-trained for another position and/or responsibility in order to provide both back-up for a department as well as to supplement resources needed during certain times of the year.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Greets and acknowledges customers.
  • Accurately and efficiently utilizes POS systems and maintains all cash and media at the registers.
  • Communicates customer requests to management.
  • Maintains awareness of menu items.
  • Counts and reconciles funds during shifts to ensure adequate funds.
  • Restocks assigned supplies and brochures.
  • Records patron counts.
  • Maintains neat appearance at the registers and in the front of house area.
  • Keeps beverage machines napkins holders silverware plates bowls and cups filled and maintained.
  • Helps keep tables and service areas clean.
  • Attentive to guest needs.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
