Job Description

Anticipated Opening THS/TMS .5 School Nurse/Instructor*Required RI Certification *Required RN License*Salary to be determined by Tiverton/NEA Collective Bargaining Agreement5 days a week 3.5 hours each day. TMS 11:00-1:00 (School Nurse) THS 1:00-2:30 (Program Coordinator/CTE CNA Teacher (see job specifications below)Program CoordinatorWork with CTE Coordinator and CNA instructor in theCreation of 40 Clinical Hours Schedule at Sakonnet Bay Nursing Home Facility Collection of documentation that students have fulfilled their 40 Clinical Hours Assist students in the CNA license process such as but not limited to collecting immunization records BCI checks student identificationAssist students in filling out the CNA license applicationSubmit all materials to the state for the students to be able to take the CNA examAssist students in scheduling their CNA examReport to the principal Perform other tasks as may be assigned by the with Program Coordinator and CTE CoordinatorTeach CNA classGrade all student work and enter grades in ASPENAttend all clinical hours at Nursing Home Facility Assist CNA students with Senior Project development execution and presentationServe as HOSA Advisor Accompany students to Fall and Spring Conferences at JWUPrepare students for the HOSA Spring CompetitionReport to the principalPerform other tasks as may be assigned by the Principal.
