Job Summary:
We are seeking a responsible and proactive Lane Supervisor to oversee daily operations in assigned traffic lanes to ensure safety efficiency and smooth flow of vehicles. The Lane Supervisor will manage lane staff monitor equipment functionality handle customer interactions and enforce operational procedures to maintain service quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate activities of lane operators/attendants in assigned lanes.
- Monitor traffic flow and ensure proper lane usage and safety compliance.
- Ensure toll or service collection processes are accurate and efficient (if applicable).
- Respond promptly to incidents customer complaints or system malfunctions.
- Conduct routine checks on lane equipment (e.g. ticketing machines barriers) and report faults.
- Train and guide new lane staff on operational protocols and safety procedures.
- Maintain records of daily activities incidents and shift reports.
- Assist in implementing operational improvements and safety initiatives.
- Communicate effectively with security emergency services and other departments as needed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in traffic or facility management is a plus.
- Proven experience in a supervisory or operational role preferably in traffic control toll operations or similar environments.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and manage time effectively.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with lane management systems.
- Willingness to work shifts weekends or holidays as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience with electronic toll collection parking systems or traffic lane operations.
