The Material Handler (Water Spider) stages and manages materials and is part of the Production Operations Department located in Waltham Massachusetts and will be full time on-site position. At Abcam our vision is to be the most influential life sciences company for researchers worldwide.
In this role you will have the opportunity to:
Manage Materials using Oracle System.
Staging materials for various functional groups including batch production and QC.
In charge of labeling raw materials intermediate items following standard work and SOPs
The essential requirements of the job include:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office label printing software.
13 years of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is a plus.
Travel Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
Ability to lift move or carry containers up to 50 lbs and comfort to frequent walking standing and material handling.
