Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Wildlife Technician with rangeland herbicide application experience to join the Plateau Land & Wildlife Team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for land stewardship habitat restoration and sustainable management of native ecosystems. This position plays a key role in implementing integrated vegetation management strategies to improve habitat for wildlife species across diverse rangeland environments.
* Assist in the planning and implementation of rangeland herbicide treatment projects
* Safely mix load and apply herbicides using various application methods
* Conduct vegetation and habitat monitoring before and after treatments
* Maintain accurate field logs data sheets and treatment maps
* Collaborate with landowners to support conservation goals
* Follow all local state and federal safety and environmental regulations
* Current Commercial Pesticide Applicator License or ability to obtain one
* Ability to work independently in rugged outdoor environments under varying weather conditions
* Strong Organizational and communication skills
