Flexion Inc. a Madison WI based IT Consulting and Services firm is looking for a UI/UX Designer to work on a long-term consulting project. The client for this position is based in Madison WI.

Duties forthis position will include:
This is a critical design position needed to drive the development and support of amodernization project a full replacement of the clients case managementsystem. Candidates will play an integral role on self directed project teams working on this high prioritydevelopment project.
Project work will include: reviewing the legacy system working with users and business analysts tounderstand business requirements design new workflows for the modern system redesign existing workflows wireframe and prototype ideas conduct usability research champion modern design
principles in our development conduct usability accessibility workflow and integration testing provideguidance on issues pertaining to user experience design beautiful and usable UI components includingleveraging our material design library to provide a modern easy-to-use system for DVR candidates will have demonstrated success in designing beautiful accessible and intuitiveweb applications.
Skills required:
- 4 years of UI/UX Lead Designer experience
- Experience as a lead designer in an development project preferably involving modernization of
technology as well as working with a cross-functional team to redesign and simplify UX and workflows to
meet modern application design standards using a material design library and component framework
such as MudBlazor - Experience creating wireframes/prototypes and iterating over them with cross-functional stakeholders
- Experience creating personas and testing designs against the personas
- Knowledgeable of modern code implementations US web design standards and product strategy
Plusses
- Experience working within Agile principles and processes
- Experience using MudBlazor material design library
- Experience training software developers and business analysts on UX principles and best
practices
The compensation range for this role is $90000 - $125000 and Flexion offers comprehensive benefit package to all employees
