Key Responsibilities

As the Business Development Manager you will play a key role in expanding commercial client relationships and identifying opportunities within the large-loss restoration space.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Business Development & Client Relations:
    • Promote and sell restoration services to commercial clients within an assigned territory.
    • Cultivate new business by establishing one-to-one relationships and increasing brand awareness.
  • Response & Lead Generation:
    • Provide Priority Response to large commercial loss events to initiate early engagement.
    • Qualify and develop leads for commercial projects and storm-related responses.
  • Account Management & Program Support:
    • Execute onboarding and implementation programs for new commercial clients.
    • Maximize account potential by driving leads jobs and revenue opportunities.
  • Communication & CRM Management:
    • Maintain detailed client engagement records through a CRM system.
    • Communicate project activities updates and results to commercial clients consistently and clearly.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role candidates should demonstrate the following:

  • Education & Experience:
    • Bachelors degree in business administration Marketing or a related field.
    • At least 2 years of B2B sales experience ideally in commercial development or restoration services.
    • Familiarity with the insurance or restoration industry is considered an asset.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Working knowledge of business software and CRM tools.
    • IICRC certifications such as Water Restoration Technician (WRT) Applied Structural Drying (ASD) and Commercial Drying Specialist or willingness to obtain within two years.
  • Key Competencies:
    • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
    • Proactive approach to identifying opportunities and delivering customer-centric solutions.
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
