Job Description:

District School/Business Liaison & Project Manager

240 day calendar

Salary: contact Stephanie Emmons

A 4 year college degree in a relatable field or 10-15 years qualified business experience.

Business and Industry Liaison

  • Present to schools businesses industry and community organizations to communicate partnerships that support student success
  • Establish business and industry partnerships to support schools throughout the district
  • Coach business and industry partners in student and educator support within career and technical education from the elementary level and up.
  • Coordinate implementation of the local career connections framework
  • Maintain and monitor the Customer Relationship Management software system

Project Management

  • Coordinate with the NCFL facilitator to prepare and host local project design sessions
  • Organize program purchases and invoicing for fiscal agents toprocess
  • Write program/initiative reports with support from NCFL and codesign team members
  • Collect and analyze data to monitor project outcomes at the local level
  • Coordinate with the fiscal agent to submit reports on a timely basis
  • Present to school business and community organizations to communicate the local implementation of program initiatives

  • Ability to work in a professional and friendly manner and maintain effective working relationships with staff and the community
  • Ability to perform duties with awareness of all district requirements and board policies
  • Ability to attend meetings before during and after school as required.
  • Ability to work productively in a team and as a self-starting individual
  • Ability to make reasonable and effective independent judgments and decisions
  • Ability to effectively analyze needs and problems objectively; produce solutions
  • Ability to work on a regular and punctual basis
  • Displays a high level of initiative effort and commitment toward completing assignments efficiently.
  • Demonstrates responsible behavior and attention to detail.
