Job Description

Job Title: Kindergarten Teacher

Location: Nance Elementary

Contact: Tasha Jefferson Principal

Nance Elementary is seeking a kind compassionate and dedicated kindergarten teacher to join our team of committed educators. We are looking for someone who fosters a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment sets clear and consistent boundaries and values strong communication with students staff and families.

Valid Oklahoma Teaching Certification in Early Childhood Education (or eligible)
Proven ability to create a warm safe and structured learning environment
Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset
Excellent communication skills with students families and colleagues
Dependable punctual and professional

Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging developmentally appropriate instruction aligned with state standards
Build strong relationships with students that promote trust respect and a love of learning
Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and classroom activities
Collaborate with grade-level team members and support staff to support student success
Maintain classroom routines expectations and boundaries with kindness and consistency
