Job Description
PDS Optical is a SDVOSB Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business that manufactures a very large number of eyeglasses each day. We have Optical Laboratories in Louisville KY and Fort Lauderdale FL and manage many optical stores across the US and Puerto Rico. We take great pride in our product and are especially thankful to produce eyeglasses for United States Veterans. Are you a people person Do you love helping others PDS Optical is in search of a friendly motivated person for the position of Billing and Customer Service Clerk. As a Billing and Customer Service Clerk you will work as part of a supportive team to be the face of our companys exceptional service and ensure that customers get all the help they need. The Customer Service position is responsible for providing product and service information resolving product and service problems.

The shift is Monday through Friday from 8:00am 4:30pm. The starting pay is $17/hr.

This is an on-site position in our Fort Lauderdale Optical Lab.
Optical experience a plus but not required.

Essential Functions include but are not limited to:
- Provide customer service to customer account reps or patients answer phones follow up with orders files tracking patients orders and status etc.
- Verifies entered customer and account data by reviewing correcting deleting or reentering data which may include verifying the eligibility of order.
- Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
