The Gifted Intervention Specialist is responsible for identifying supporting and enhancing the educational experience of gifted and talented students. This role involves designing and delivering differentiated instruction tailored to advanced learners collaborating with classroom teachers to modify curriculum and ensuring that students intellectual social and emotional needs are met. The specialist will work with classroom teachers to plan and deliver instruction to gifted identified students as well as develop Written Education Plans (WEPs) and monitor student progress. Additionally the role requires effective communication with parents staff and administration as well as ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in gifted education.
