About the role
The Senior Scientist is responsible for providing advanced technical scientific and analytical support for climate change-related programs. This role plays a key part in delivering the NSW Climate Change Adaptation Strategy and focuses on two critical areas:
The Senior Scientist will be part of the Adaptation Impact and Risk Science (AIRS) team which is at the forefront of delivering science and knowledge to internal and external partners across government. The AIRS team is multidisciplinary and dynamic with expertise in integrated research strategic program coordination and knowledge brokering. Together the team supports the implementation of actions outlined in the NSW Climate Change Adaptation Strategy.
