You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailRichmond Behavioral Health is excited to hire a Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist to join our RICH Team. The selected individual will perform intermediate skilled human support work providing quality peer support services peer navigation and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed in RBHAs main service delivery areas and the integrated primary/behavioral health care clinic under the supervision of assigned supervisor.
Essential Functions
Provides direct peer supports to individuals; develops implements reviews revises and monitors individualized service/treatment plans behavioral contracts and transfer/discharge plans.
Transports/Escorts individuals as needed (in agency fleet vehicle) to outside appointments.
Provides patient navigation and assisting with primary care patient caseload.
Makes reminder calls for RICH-only patients coordination of appointments etc.
Monitors and helps develop the operation of peer recovery support services.
Coordinates with sub-contracted agencies regional partners community partners and facilitates service linkages.
Conducts individual and community partner outreach activities; coordinates program support initiatives.
Provides motivational/informational support in individual/group formats to adults with behavioral health disorders.
Maintains detailed and up-to-date knowledge of community treatment and recovery resources.
Assists in the preparation of a variety of reports; maintains client records as needed; maintains daily billing as needed.
Coordinates public relation activities; establishes and maintains professional relationships.
Attends meetings staffings and conferences as they relate to individual staff and program needs.
