Job Description
Bachelors degree preferably in Computer Science Information Systems or a related STEM field required. At least 2 years of related experience. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail. Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly both verbally and in writing. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced matrixed environment. Willingness and ability to learn and grow within a team environment. Demonstrated understanding of sensitivity to and respect for the academic cultural and social diversity in the Hofstra University community.
Preferred Qualifications
Two or more years of experience in a data warehouse or business intelligence environment preferred. Experience developing data pipelines or ELT workflows; Informatica IICS experience a plus. Proficiency in SQL and understanding of relational and dimensional data models. Experience with BI tools such as Tableau and PowerBI for data visualization and reporting.
