Apply online: Application PortalJob Title: Director of Human ResourcesContract Days: 240Qualifications of Employment:Preferred: Building Administrative and/or District LicensurePreferred: HR School District ExperiencePreferred: Educational Administrative ExperienceEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Oversee coordinate train support and troubleshoot in the following areas: RSD Policy maintenance and revision process; upload all correct policies on BoardBookAttend PPC/CPPC meetings as needed to present school board policies answer questionsEnsure salary schedules and stipends are in policy and applied to positionsAnalyzing salary schedules around the state checking for equity in compensation Lead training for administrators and support with disciplinary write ups within the districtLead organize and prepare any employee hearings Lead the RSD Recruitment and Retention Committee and annual upload of the Recruitment and Retention Plan Ensures employees are trained and properly use the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA); organize the FMLA absences and procedureServe as the Title IX Coordinator for RSD; provide training for all staffMonitor RSD Standards of Accreditation status (Human Capital)Coordinate teacher licensure renewal Ensure a system of compliance of the Fair Labor Standards ActTrain staff on hours worked per week overtime comp time and all timesheet procedures; check on timesheets quarterly to give feedback to supervisorsCreate upload and manage all contracts for certified and classified staff; send out contracts annually through FrontlineEnsure RSD is OSHA Compliant and assign training for all staff (PD Deputy SuptServe as the liaison for all substitutes; communicate with ESS/Willsub to help train new subs monthly; train the Cyclone Subs annually; ensure administrators know the process and pay rates for subs long term subsManage all licensure exceptions for the District complete all required paperwork and submit to DESEManage the Educator Effectiveness System to ensure accuracy and useCreate and ensure all job descriptions for classified and certified staff roles are maintained and meet all compliance requirements and FLSAManage all staff for absences within the absence management system; communicate and train all staff; ensure all staff data is correct for absences; manage and maintain the actual absence management systemsCreate communicate and train supervisors on the RSD Hiring Process annuallyTrain all supervisors on the Frontline systems (Records Recruiting and Hiring Absence Management); offer troubleshooting support and assistanceMeet all new hires to review their contract and salaries answer questions and ensure they go through the background check process Track and manage the classified probationary contracts from the initial probationary to standard contractAnnually renew contracts for all staff by compiling a list for the school board to approve Manage support and train over the ADE certified staff evaluation system; create the evaluation timeline annually for supervisorsManage the classified evaluation process and timelineManage the Workers Comp process and train staff on procedures Train all supervisors at the start of each year in all HR areas Serve as the RSD Internship Coordinator with ATU and any other universities to place all interns; coordinate the internship orientation each semester Complete exit/stay surveys with all resigning staff and share data appropriatelyMaintain accurate staff turnover and retention rates monthlyCoordinate the New Teacher Orientation assist with the RSD End of Year Celebration and the years of service gifts. Collaborate with the finance and payroll department with hiring payroll contracts insurance and benefits for all employees Additional duties as needed
