Position Overview:
Were looking for our first Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join the Infrastructure team and help shape the foundation of our reliability practice. Youll play a critical role in ensuring the scalability performance and resilience of our next-generation capital markets platform for alternative investments.
In this role you will:
- Champion reliability culture across teams by defining and applying SRE best practices.
- Strengthen observability by enhancing our monitoring logging and alerting pipelines.
- Lead incident response and resolution efforts drive root cause analysis and implement long-term fixes.
- Improve deployment processes to ensure safe stable releases into production environments.
- Define and track SLOs SLIs and SLAs with relevant teams to align expectations and drive reliability goals.
- Automate operations tasks and reduce toil through tooling scripting and infrastructure improvements.
- Share knowledge and contribute to internal documentation and best practices.
- Work within a modern DevOps stack using AWS infrastructure-as-code and containerized services.
This is a high-impact hands-on role where youll work closely with cross-functional teams to improve observability streamline deployments and strengthen the reliability of our platform. Youll be joining a collaborative engineering culture with strong automation in place and the freedom to be creative and proactive.
What Were Looking For:
- Minimum 4 years of experience supporting and maintaining AWS infrastructure (e.g. VPC EC2 ECS CloudWatch Security Hub IAM S3).
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure-as-code using AWS CDK with TypeScript (required) or CloudFormation/Terraform.
- Proficient in setting up and managing consolidated logging alarms dashboards and performance metrics.
- Comfortable navigating CloudWatch logs across application layers to diagnose and troubleshoot issues.
- Solid experience with container orchestration (especially AWS ECS); Kubernetes experience is a plus.
- Good understanding of network and security configuration in AWS environments.
- Experience creating and executing runbooks for common operational tasks and incidents.
- Strong scripting/programming experience in Python (must) and TypeScript (required) used across our DevOps projects and core application stacks.
- Clear communicator with strong ownership mindset and a bias for action.
Nice to have:
- Experience with AWS Site-to-Site VPN or other VPN services.
- Experience with large-scale distributed systems is very appreciated.
- Practical experience in the identification and mitigation of DDoS attacks together with cybersecurity teams.
- Can work with databases using SQL and performance monitoring tools.

- This U.S.-based position offers a competitive base salary that varies depending on the candidates location. Pay ranges may differ for specific regions.
- The role is flexible allowing for remote or hybrid work arrangements. Our office is located in Houston while working from the office is not required if youre based nearby wed love to see you occasionally for in-person collaboration or social time with the team.
