Overview:
Antwerpen Automotive is seeking an experienced and results-driven Used Car Director to lead our high-performing pre-owned vehicle operation. This is not your average dealership rolewe operate a standalone Toyota used car department with over 500 vehicles in inventory. Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
Minimum 2 years of experience in automotive sales or sales management
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
Ability to pass pre-employment testing including background check and drug screening
Commitment to operating in a safe and professional manner

Key Responsibilities:
Set monthly and annual goals for sales volume gross profit and departmental expenses
Recruit train motivate and manage the used vehicle sales team
Support sales consultants in setting and achieving realistic performance goals
Implement and monitor a robust prospecting and sales control process to ensure thorough follow-up with all potential customers
Manage used vehicle inventory levels ensuring alignment with market demand and sales trends
Analyze local market conditions to inform vehicle acquisition and pricing strategies
Collaborate with the New Car Sales Manager to ensure proper vehicle flow for trade-ins and inventory needs
Appraise all incoming used vehicles accurately and competitively
Plan and maintain a professional display of used vehicles on the lot
Direct wholesale operations and establish strong relationships with auction houses
Approve and process all documentation related to auction purchases
Assist in the development and execution of effective advertising and promotional strategies
Stay informed of market pricing trends and regularly attend auto auctions
Maintain accurate and timely documentation for all vehicle acquisitions and sales
