Job Description
Come build the future of Generative Artificial Intelligence Large Language Models Agents and Voice Assistants. If you have the right blend of passion technical expertise customer obsession curiosity and creativity you may just be right for the Senior Solutions Architect role in Alexa Americas team. In this role you will work with some of the top companies across the Americas to develop cutting-edge AI experiences that will wow customers using the latest Alexa services and GEN-AI models on a variety of Amazon and third party products.
You must have high degree of hands-on development experience being able to code in Java and/or other programming languages. Your responsibilities will include owning key technical relationships and driving the ultimate success of partner projects. You will be the face of Amazon with key partners and drive discussions with senior technical leaders/CxO in those organizations. You will also be able to think strategically about business product and technical challenges and map the intersection of partner needs and Amazon priorities. This role requires both excellent communication skills as well as the technical background to fluently interact and provide guidance to software developers and architects.
Key job responsibilities
Provide technical consultation to strategic development partners. This includes API integrations; as well as the design creation and deployment of applications using Voice and GEN-AI.
Actively identify opportunities to deliver experiences that demonstrate what is possible on Amazon devices and services.
Build and showcase unique compelling and exciting demonstrations of new Amazon technologies
Deliver persuasive passionate high impact presentations to senior decision makers and large groups of technical and business leaders
Document best practices and create development resources that can be used by other developers
Engage with Partners by speaking at events meet-ups and webinars.
About the team
The Alexa America team defines delivers and create Alexa experiences based on customer needs; including both consumer and enterprise customers. The team drives engagement manages local content and Alexas local personality support device and feature launches and set priorities to improve quality for customers across device types (Echo Fire TV Alexa Built-in and Mobile).
- 8 years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development cloud computing systems engineering infrastructure security networking data & analytics) experience
- 3 years of design implementation or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
- 10 years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
- 5 years of infrastructure architecture database architecture and networking experience
- Experience working with end user or developer communities
- Experience with Gen AI API integrations LLMs agents to agent integrations.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $138200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $239000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
