Electrophysiologist Opportunity OFallon IL (St. Louis Metro East)
Join a thriving fully EP-focused practice with advanced technology and outstanding supportjust 20 minutes from downtown St. Louis.

Position Overview:
Prairie Cardiovascular is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Cardiac Electrophysiologist to join our team in OFallon Illinois just across the river from St. Louis. This is a 100% EP practiceno general cardiologysupported by experienced APPs a dedicated EP lab and state-of-the-art equipment in a high-volume hospital-based setting.

Practice Highlights:

100% EP-focused role at a single hospital location

Limited outreach (13 days/month)

Advanced technologies including Carto 3 Opal 3D Farapulse and Varipulse PFA

Full range of CRM platforms: Medtronic Boston Scientific Biotronik and Abbott

Hybrid lab available for EP procedures

Dedicated EP staff and infrastructure

EPIC EMR

Supportive team including 1 experienced EP physician (youd be the second EP) 3 EP-dedicated APPs and 11 general cardiologists

Overnight call is phone-only

Easy stress-free commute from anywhere in the St. Louis metro area

Candidate Requirements:

Unrestricted Illinois medical license (or eligibility prior to start)

Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology

Compensation & Benefits:

2-year guaranteed base salary followed by a productivity-based model

Education Qualifications

  • Clinical doctorate is required.

Experience Qualifications

  • Competence in delivery of healthcare services for adolescents adults and geriatric patients is required.

Certifications Licenses and Registrations

  • Licensed physician in the state of practice is required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
  • Maintain a Controlled Substance license for the state and Federal DEA when applicable to their specialty.
  • Must have successfully completed or in the process of completing an accredited residency program.
  • Must be board certified or board eligible.
