Job Description
Job Title: Front Desk- Registration Clerk (PRN Temporary/ Seasonal)
Fast paced ambulatory surgical center looking for an individual that is outgoing energetic hard-working and loves helping people. Medical office experience is required.
You will be responsible for welcoming patients and families physicians and other visitors to the center.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Greet and check-in patients
- Maintaining current demographic and insurance information into the facility computer software
- Gather all documentation necessary for surgical procedures
- Collect co-pay/co-insurance payments and assist patients as needed
- Receive and direct incoming calls
- Distribute mail messages andassemble patient charts.
- Other duties include collecting payments and any other necessary duties.
